Soy Butter Cabbage & Rice Noodles
A whole cabbage steams stuffed with soy butter sauce, then its broth cooks the rice noodles and bean sprouts.
Ingredients
- 1 whole cabbage
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp agave syrup (or 1 tbsp sugar)
- Black pepper
- Meat of choice
- Water
- 1 bouillon cube
- Rice noodles
- Bean sprouts
- Chopped chives
Instructions

Cut a wide hole around the core of the cabbage and fill it with butter, soy sauce, agave syrup, and black pepper. Wrap the bottom and sides in foil, leaving the top open.

Place the meat in the pressure cooker with water and a bouillon cube.

Set a steamer basket inside and place the prepared cabbage on top.

Pressure cook on Multi-Cook (High Pressure) for 25-30 minutes — 25 minutes for a slightly crunchy texture, 30 for soft and tender.

Remove the steamed cabbage and meat from the pot.

Add rice noodles and bean sprouts to the remaining broth and bring to a boil. Top with chopped chives and black pepper to finish.
