Multipot Recipe
Tteokbokki
Turns out tteokbokki is not a bad breakfast menu at all, made hands-off under pressure — with soft-boiled eggs and dumplings cooked alongside on a separate rack.
Ingredients
- 10 pieces rice cakes
- 2 sheets fish cakes
- 1/8 head cabbage
- 1 stalk green onion
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sugar
- A bit of oyster sauce
- Sesame oil
- 4 dumplings
- 5 eggs
Instructions
1

Add the rice cakes, fish cakes, cabbage, green onion, gochujang, chili powder, soy sauce, sugar, and oyster sauce to the pot. Pressure cook for 5 minutes (Instant Pot) or 15 minutes (rice cooker).
2

On a plate with a bit of sesame oil and soy sauce, add the dumplings and eggs and cook alongside.
3

Plate everything together.
Tip. Cooking the eggs and dumplings on a rack above the tteokbokki keeps them from turning mushy in the sauce.
